Our Team
We THEORETICALLY plan to run candidates in the 2028 election in both houses of parliament. It is only theoretical at this stage because the planning is only scant and because the coalition parties MAY get their act together (in which case this will remain theoretcial). It is also being prepared to counter one nation (which don't seem to have credible policies). That party has recently getting more popular (probably because people are annoyed at the mainstream parties ??). Yet, one nation seems to be adamantly mono-cultural and we know that Australia is multicultural. We have probably met many honest, warm, kind and hard working immigrants from other countries and they have contributed productively to Australia's progress. We want that to continue.

There will (hopefully) be some candidates to run the economy.There will also be other candidates to oversee the distribution of wealth and to watch over everyone to ensure legal compliance. We will run the economy using Adam Smith's "invisible hand of free enterprise" to grow the economic pie and his "invisible hand of compassion" to try to ensure that we all look after each other.Note 1The correct balance is what we seek.
Note 1: Adam Smith was a Scottish thinker who lived in the 1700s. He strongly believed that if people were left to do what they wanted to do (without governmental interference), society will be better off. If, for example, society preferred peaches to plums and were happy to pay more for peaches, some farmers will voluntarily choose to grow more peaches. Society will be happy with that outcome. The free market thus naturally sends price signals that serves society well. Adam Smith also strongly believed in compassion and kindness. Although most people in society might agree with this, a small % don't practice it. Consequently, we need government to monitor society and ensure that everyone follows our rules, dispensing justice when some people break our social contract. Lastly, although we'd prefer it if everyone naurally chose to be kind and compassionate, we still need a progressive tax system to help us to distribute our national income.
